Undeclared allergens are a big problem whenever an allergic person depends on the label being correct. I know, personally. There have been times when I have eaten things; broken out in huge hives; and had no idea what caused the bad reaction. Some people react to many different allergens that can be life threatening. This is a very serious matter that should never be taken lightly. Allergic reactions can happen to people after they have been exposed before. In subsequent exposures the reaction may become more serious requiring emergency care.
Lately companies and the FDA have been very careful to recall items that are unfortunately mislabeled.
This is written as public service. Whether you have any food allergies or not, please help those who may be affected by this recall. Please share this post and or the link from the FDA who provide the information and the image.
