Today was my shopping day. I am turning a new leaf by beginning to buy in bulk.

Powdered milk is one item where I can save money and have a stockpile.
I can hear some of you going, "Ew-w-w! powdered milk! Gross!"

Mixed up and chilled in the refrigerator without knowing the milk was mixed, most people do not taste the difference.
NO, we don't sit down and drink a big glass of milk with some cookies.

I used the milk in cooking, smoothies and cereal.

Having powdered milk on hand is like having the cow or the goat in the goat in the back yard. It feels like you never run out of milk.

For my son and I beginning to buy in bulk, including the powdered milk, is a win-win situation. The dried product will last a long time.
We do not have to worry about getting to grocery store.

In my photos, I put some powdered milk into a Ball canning jar that had been sterilized. I added the water according to the direction. You can see it bubbles at first. Wait a minute, pour the rest of the water in, screw the lid on tight and shake it up, baby.

I guesss we figured out how to get alongwithout the milkman.
Refrigerate. Chill and enjoy.
